oh my this is really good. Affordable price around UCLA campus. In fact I keep to come back to this place couple times in few days. It’s not nice to someone not speak mandarins or Cantonese tho but worth it a try I mean.

I and my friends went here frequently when I was still studying at UCLA. We sometimes ordered delivery as well. My favorite dishes were the braised chicken, and tomato noodles soup. And my favorite drink was the mung bean drink which helped me cool down my body. The restaurant was quite small, but the waiters were very nice, and the food portion was big also. I would recommend it

The best comfort soup-type of foos in westwood village. I would eat here after class all the time when I lived in Westwood, and I still try and stop by here whenever I'm visiting campus. I love their kimchi beef mixian, not as sour/salty/spicy as a jjigae since the broth is a lot lighter and milder, but it works REALLY well with the chunks of brisket and pieces of kimchi they put in there. I always try to take some home but I never have leftovers, it's THAT comforting (especially on a cold day). Their other menu options including the hot pots and mixians have been great as well, and they always have a daily special. Keep in mind this is not family style but the portions are enormous and you'll very likely have leftovers to take home, so the price is a great value. Finally, the staff are the sweetest people in the world and they're really friendly so try and get to know them! (And they gave me complementary fruit on a hot day lol).

Love love this place. Their jasmine green tea is so good and potent and very cheap. If you’re a tea person and don’t need many toppings and just want quality tea then get it. I always get their spicy beef dry hot pot and the noodles are sooo good. Always a simple yet satisfying dinner. Service is always friendly, and you can order at the kiosk for pickup or dine in.

My son suggested this place, and it was great. It's not the usual americanized Chinese restaurant. I don't know which region they're from. I ordered the dry spicy beef noodles. It wasn't very spicy, but it was nicely numbing.

Q:What’s good here? —>A: definitely 番茄肥牛mixian, any of the rice dishes(especially the signature sirloin or 猪脚饭), any of the火锅 options, 猪耳朵, QQtofu, osmanthus rice drink(if you like 酒酿flavor), Mung Bean smoothie. I’ve come alone or with friends before and it’s been good everytime! Also fast for takeout/delivery. I know customer service is a mixed bag for ppl— but honestly take them with a grain of salt and be patient with them and everything will be okay :) the prices are what I expected from a Westwood Chinese eatery :O so no surprises. I usually like coming here, I know I can count on their food to fill up my stomach if I haven’t eaten well in a while; especially when I want something nostalgic and hot to eat. It has been a great source of comfort after a days worth full of classes or exams.
